This cross is a contemporary design inspired by a bas-relief on an outer wall of the Basilica of Sacre Coeur in Paris, France. It consists of a traditional four-armed cross with a central motif at of the Sacred Heart surrounded by a Crown of Thorns. 
   It is a symbol of the love and sacrifice of Christ.
