In 1231 at Caravaca, Spain, a priest imprisoned during the Moorish occupation was instructed by his captors to say a Mass in order to satisfy their curiosity about the Catholic rite.
The priest began, stopped when he realized that a required element, a cross, was not present. His captors grew angry at the delay, but then, through an open window, a cross appeared: the Pectoral Cross of the Patriarch of Jerusalem, miraculously transported to the site by two angels.Dimensions: 2" x 3/4"
